AFC Bournemouth plays a draw against West Ham United

AFC Bournemouth ended their match against West Ham United with a dramatic 3-3 draw on 26th of December.

The first goal was fired by Jame Collins in the seventh minute. Bournemouth got their score equalised as Dan Gosling fired back in the 29th minute.

Nathan Ake doubled the score for the Cherries in the early second half. Marko Arnautivic stepped in the closing moments of the game to score two goals and leave Bournemouth behind shortly before the end. However, in the injury time, a controversial situation occurred, which has left the Hammers with questions. Callum Wilson scored from Ake’s header, and it was firstly not counted due to an offside. However, after the referee Bobby Madley looked in, he allowed it, which meant the Cherries managed to bring it to 3-3 before the end of the game.

Bournemouth managed to show a game which encompassed more drive, and while West Ham could feel frustrated, Bournemouth received a deserved draw after their consistent performance. They can still show their character in the remaining games of the season, where they will have to strengthen up in order to maintain a stable top-flight position in the league table.

This game doesn’t change much for the Hammers, who recently got their new manager appointed, David Moyes. While they are one point off relegation, there is much work for them that needs to be done to maintain their existence in the Premier League.
