Arsenal defeat West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League

Arsenal has extended their successive win streak to three at the Emirates Stadium after defeating West Brom by a 2-0 score on 25th of September.

The Frenchman, Alexandre Lacazette, has scored again to promote the club, and this time he made the decisive efforts with two goals. He fired the opener in the 20th minute after the Gunners have already mustered some dangerous attempts against the keeper, Ben Foster. In the second half, Lacazette successfully converted the penalty, before Allan Nyom challenged Aaron Ramsey from inside the box.

Though West Brom lost this one, it didn’t lie that much in their performance as in their lack of luck. In the first half, before the opener, there was a moment when Shkodran Mustafi challenged Jay Rodriguez inside the box, but the visitors’ could be angered for not having a penalty awarded. Before they break there was a dangerous move from Rodriguez as he aimed to fire towards the home keeper, but Nacho Monreal acted quickly to clear it off the line.

After suffering some trouble, Arsenal seems to be in shape again, finishing five unbeaten games. Lacazette continues to effectively threaten the opponents, Sanchez seems to be happily back into the game and Ramsey stays in optimal shape.

As the Gunners have earned this win, they proceed onto the 7th place in the League table, just one point behind the 4th placed Tottenham. They might still look unprepared for the likes of Manchester City, but there are slowly improving and might become a serious threat in no time.
