Crystal Palace plays a draw against Everton in the Premier League
The Premier League clash between Crystal Palace and Everton ended with a 2-2 draw on 18th of November.
The hosts were quick and agile to score the opener in the first minute from James McArthur’s shot. However, they got a quick response 5 minutes afterwards from Leighton Baines’ penalty.
Wilfried Zaha scored the second goal for the hosts in the 35th minute to offer them some hope for a victory. In the stoppage time, the Striker Oumar Niasse managed to score one back for the visitors to seal the score for this match.
It was a difficult game, as in the ending minutes both sides had chances to score, especially Palace, but Jordan Pickford maintained a solid stance to thwart enemies’ plans.
The stats show that both of the teams have the highest number of conceded goals in this season. It is obvious that they must do something about it, and there could be seen a progress from the Eagles.
After Frank de Boyer was sacked at the beginning of the season, Roy Hodgson improved their performance in both defence and attack. Their resilience was impressive, however, also with a new 4-4-2 formation, they show some powerful moves in the front.
Everton’s future remains uncertain, however, their boss, David Unsworth, was happy with the result. During the game, there were players whose actions proved to be vital, and Unsworth will have to think about it before entering the next match.
