Huddersfield Town lose to Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League
Tottenham Hotspur showed a brilliant game defeating Huddersfield Town at their soil by a 0-4 score on 30th of September.
Harry Kane launched the opener catching the ball from Kieran Trippier’s header and firing past the home keeper, Jonas Lossl in the 9th minute.
Ben Davies doubled the score shortly afterwards finishing the move where Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen and Kane were involved. The third one came in the 23rd minute from a similar effort as the first one, where Trippier also assisted Kane, before the Briton fired past the home keeper.
After that, a goalless period followed, where Huddersfield attempted to frighten, with a notable Tommy Smith’s dangerous effort which was saved by the visitor’s keeper, Hugo Lloris.
In the late game, the substitute Moussa Sissoko managed to seal the score at 4 goals, which became his first for the club.
The Terriers suffered one of their most terrible defeats in this season, however, even after they were facing a 0-3 outcome, their attacks haven’t gotten weaker. Their efforts were still coming one after another, but after Sissoko mustered the last goal it was clear that there is no more time left to pull at least one back.
Huddersfield is now on the 10th place in the Premier League table, while Spurs have advanced to the third and stay five points behind the second-placed Manchester United and the leaders, Manchester City.
